DSDS, Your earlier post regarding authoritarianism, had me pondering the way humans respond to orders from authority figures, and that social experiment came to mind. It wasn't a particular response to any particular poster on here.

I think given the right circumstances there are very few of us who would not succumb to extreme pressure (torture, threats against loved ones etc.).
